Shoko Story
Athens atelier since 2009
Slow fashion
for everyday women.
Shoko started in Athens with a simple idea: make clothes with care, character and real hands behind them. Today, every piece still begins in our atelier, shaped by the people who design, cut, sew, photograph, pack and send it to women across Europe.
Step inside Shoko.
Before the numbers, the collections and the studio, this is the feeling behind the brand.
Started with Daniela, fabrics and a very clear feeling.
Daniela Koch was born in the Bavarian Alps and started designing from a very young age. Shoko became her way of turning beautiful fabrics into clothing that feels easy, feminine and personal.
The first idea was never to chase trends. It was to make pieces that feel special, comfortable and real enough to become part of everyday life.
A brand built with feeling, visuals and people.
Manos brought the visual world of Shoko online, translating the atelier into images, stories and a shop that could reach women far beyond Athens.
What started as a small creative space became a living team, a workshop, a studio, a community and, honestly, a little family.
Everything happens close to home.
We design, cut, sew, check, photograph, pack and ship from our Athens atelier. Not because it is easy, but because it keeps the work human.
Every piece starts from a sketch, a fabric and a feeling.
Patterns and fabrics are handled inside our own space.
Our team creates the pieces by hand with care and patience.
Photoshoots, campaigns and product stories are made by us.
Your order is packed and sent from the same Shoko home.
Small runs, slower choices, better attention.
We are not a mass production brand. Keeping the process close allows us to control quality, reduce unnecessary waste and stay connected to the people who make the clothes.
This is why Shoko pieces feel different. There is a person behind the cut, a person behind the sewing machine and a person checking the final result.
The price is part of the story.
Our garments are made with local work, selected fabrics, fair production time and all the invisible hands that keep a small brand alive.
Behind every piece there is fabric sourcing, pattern work, cutting, sewing, quality control, photography, customer care, packaging, taxes, logistics and the real cost of making something properly.
The beautiful mess behind every drop.
Fittings, shoots, fabrics, cats, coffee, styling, packing, fixing, laughing, trying again. This is the part you do not always see, but it is where Shoko actually lives.
A softer way to build a fashion brand.
For us, Shoko is not only production and sales. It is people, animals, responsibility, small daily rituals and the feeling that what we make should carry some kindness with it.
We believe in making with intention, avoiding unnecessary overproduction and giving imperfect pieces a second chance whenever possible.
Keeping production in Athens lets us stay close to the process, support our team and protect the quality of every garment.
Our clothes are made for women who want to feel feminine, comfortable and themselves in everyday moments.
The cats are part of the story too. Somehow, they always were.
Wear something made with care.
